Mesa Verde Motel is proud to announce that Sally Dziedzic has been honored with the Frontline Hospitality Tourism Award at the 2024 Colorado Governor’s Tourism Conference, hosted by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. This award recognizes a person that has made significant contributions to delivering excellence in hospitality for Colorado’s tourism industry. Frontline Hospitality Workers are defined as those who work directly with residents and visitors to provide goods and services.
Sally, Owner /Operator of Mesa Verde Motel, was celebrated for her outstanding contributions to providing boutique accommodation and lodging, excellent customer service and guest relations. The awards ceremony took place on September 26, 2024, at the Elevation Hotel & Spa in Mt. Crested Butte, with over 400 tourism professionals, community leaders, and stakeholders from across the state in attendance.
Her commitment to outstanding service exemplifies the spirit of innovation, stewardship and leadership that drives our local tourism industry forward.
Sally was also named in the Top 3 for the Governors Rising Star Award. This award recognizes individuals who are new to the tourism industry – within the last five years – and have shown leadership, commitment and a passion for Colorado’s tourism industry.
Sally says “I am blown away to be recognized and receive these nominations and award, especially as a newcomer to the tourism sector. Being located in the rural Four Corners area and competing against much larger and more established partners, this is truly an honor. I wouldn’t be able to give so much to my role without my incredible partners, so this is really a win for all of us”.
